Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum Alloy
Hastelloy C-4
Hastelloy C-4 is an austenitic, low-carbon nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy that exhibits excellent stability at temperatures ranging from 650°C to 1040°C. This composition enhances its resistance to intergranular corrosion, ensuring superior performance in harsh environments. Under appropriate manufacturing conditions, it can effectively prevent blade line corrosion sensitivity and weld heat-affected zone corrosion.
Applications
- Flue gas desulfurization systems
- Pickling and acid regeneration plants
- Acetic acid and agricultural chemicals production
- Titanium dioxide production (chlorination process)
- Electrolytic plating
