Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum Alloy
Hastelloy B-3
Hastelloy B-3 is a new addition to the nickel-molybdenum alloy family that offers exceptional corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid at any temperature and concentration. It also exhibits excellent resistance to sulfuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid, and other non-oxidizing media. Through to adjustments in its chemical composition, the thermal stability of B-3 has significantly improved compared to the B-2 alloy. Hastelloy B-3 is highly resistant to pitting, stress corrosion, edge corrosion, and corrosion in the heat-affected zones of welded joints.
